I follow a holistic approach to patient care. I explore traditional as well as non-traditional treatment options, using evidence-based medicine to guide my recommendations and seeking to treat each patient as the unique individual that they are for multiple medical issues.Β

βItβs just that time of the month.β
Many women hear this when they bring up severe period pain, bloating, or painful bowel movements. But for some, those symptoms may beΒ something more.
March isΒ Endometriosis Awareness Month, and understanding the signs is the first step toward getting the care and support you deserve. π
Endometriosis affects aboutΒ 1 in 10 womenΒ in the United States and can cause chronic pelvic pain, heavy periods, pain during sex, and difficulty getting pregnant.
Endometriosis care deserves time, attention, and a personalized approach π
Despite how common it is, endometriosis is a long and frustrating journey for many women, with years of symptoms, delayed diagnosis, and feeling unheard. This is where concierge medicine can make a meaningful difference. In a concierge model, care is not rushed. There is time to truly listen, connect the dots, and take symptoms seriously from the very beginning.
How concierge medicine can support endometriosis care:β¨β¨ Longer, in-depth visits to fully understand your symptoms and historyβ¨β¨ Thoughtful, proactive evaluation, not dismissing pain as βnormalββ¨β¨ Coordination with top specialists (gynecology, fertility, pelvic floor therapy)β¨β¨ Personalized treatment plans tailored to your lifestyle and goalsβ¨β¨ Ongoing support, follow-up, and adjustments as your needs evolve
Endometriosis is complex and managing it requires more than a quick visit. It requires partnership, advocacy, and continuity of care.
You deserve to feel heard. You deserve answers. And you deserve a plan thatβs built around you.
π If youβve been struggling with symptoms or searching for clarity, know that a more supportive, individualized approach is possible. Call TullyMD today at (201) 241-2626 to make an appointment today!

March is MS Awareness Month. π
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic neurological condition that affects how the brain and body communicate. While the exact cause remains unknown, women are about 3x more likely to develop it than men.
Symptoms can vary widely, with vision changes, numbness or weakness, fatigue, brain fog, and balance or coordination challenges. And too often, patients experiencing these symptoms are dismissed or told itβs βjust stress.β But MS doesnβt always present in obvious ways. It can be subtle, unpredictable, and deeply disruptive, and those symptoms deserve careful attention, not dismissal.
Accurate diagnosis requires time and thoughtful evaluation: a detailed medical history, neurological exam, and often MRI imaging. But care doesnβt stop at diagnosis. MS is a lifelong condition that requires ongoing monitoring, support, and adjustment of treatment over time.
The good news: many people with MS live full, healthy lives with the right care and support. Prioritizing sleep, nutrition, movement, and staying consistent with treatment can make a meaningful difference.
This is where concierge medicine can help. With longer visits, enhanced access, and a more personalized approach, patients are truly heard. Subtle changes are caught earlier, concerns are addressed sooner, and care becomes proactive, not reactive.
At TullyMD, we believe that understanding your health is empowering and that listening carefully is essential care. Call TullyMD today at (201) 241-2626 to find out more about how concierge medicine can benefit you.

Today we celebrate International Womenβs Day, a moment to recognize the strength, resilience, and contributions of women everywhere. π
Women are caregivers, leaders, innovators, advocates, and change-makers. Yet many women still face barriers when it comes to their health, their voices being heard, and access to the care and support they deserve.
At TullyMD, we believe that empowering women begins with listening to them. It means creating space for thoughtful conversations about health, whether thatβs fertility, pregnancy, perimenopause, menopause, mental health, cancer prevention, or simply feeling well in your own body.
Womenβs health is not one moment or one stage of life, itβs a lifelong journey. When women have the knowledge, time, and support to care for themselves, families and communities thrive.
Today is a reminder to:β¨π Advocate for your healthβ¨π Prioritize your well-beingβ¨π Support the women around youβ¨π Continue pushing for better care and better conversations
Hereβs to strong womenβ¦β¨May we know them.β¨May we support them.β¨May we be them.

πMarch is Colon Cancer Awareness Month π
Here are some facts:
* Colon cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer-related deathsΒ
* In the U.S., colorectal cancer rates in adults under age 50 are increasing by about 3% per year.Β
* Nearly 45% of all new colorectal cancer cases are now occurring in adults under age 65
At TullyMD, colorectal cancer screening isnβt a rushed referral or a reminder buried in a portal message, itβs a personalized prevention plan. We start with a thoughtful risk assessment: your family history, symptoms, lifestyle factors, and overall health goals.
If youβre 45+ (or younger with risk factors), this is your reminder to get screened.
Donβt waitβ¦take a moment for yourself today. Call (201) 241-2626 to create a screening plan that fits your concerns and risks and protects your health.
#colorectalcancerawarenessmonth #coloncancerawareness #cancerprevention #preventivehealth #screeningsaveslives
Colorectal cancer is the 3rd most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the U.S. β and the 2nd leading cause of cancer-related deaths. In fact, it is the leading cause of cancer death in younger adults. That is likely because in adults under 50, 75% of these cancers are diagnosed at advanced stages.
But hereβs whatβs powerful:
π Itβs one of the most preventable cancers.οΏ½π Itβs one of the most treatable when caught early.
The American Cancer Society now recommends starting screening at age 45, but earlier if you have family history or risk factors.
The problem is that more than one-third of adults 45+ arenβt up to date on screenings.οΏ½So if early detection can prevent cancer or catch it at a stage where treatment is far more effective, why arenβt we all doing it?
So many people dread colonoscopies, but now screening can be done with stool or blood tests which can diagnose over 90% of all colon cancers. What is the best test for you? Really, anyone that gets done. οΏ½
At TullyMD, we take a proactive approach to prevention. That means individualized risk assessment, clear screening guidance, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
Prevention is powerful. Early detection saves lives. π
If youβre experiencing symptoms like rectal bleeding, persistent abdominal pain, unexplained weight loss, or changes in bowel habits, donβt ignore them, call us today!

February is Cancer Prevention Month!
It is a powerful reminder that while not all cancers are preventable, many risks can be reduced with intentional, proactive care.
At TullyMD, prevention isnβt an afterthought, itβs the foundation of how we practice medicine.
Cancer prevention is about:β¨β’ Personalized screening schedules based on your family history and risk factorsβ¨β’ Lifestyle medicine that supports metabolic health and reduces inflammationβ¨β’ Skin checks, pap smears, colon cancer screening, breast imaging at the right time, not just when convenientβ¨β’ Identifying subtle changes early, when intervention matters most
True prevention requires time. Time to take a thorough history. Time to understand patterns. Time to educate. Time to follow up.
Concierge medicine allows for deeper conversations about nutrition, alcohol use, exercise, sleep, environmental exposures, and stress, all of which play a role in long-term cancer risk.
Small, consistent decisions today can meaningfully impact your health years from now.
If youβve been postponing a screening or wanting a more comprehensive prevention plan, consider this your reminder. Prevention is powerful and itβs personal.
Call our office at (201) 241-2626, or visit www.TullyMD.com to learn more about how TullyMD can make a difference in your wellness.

Eating disorders donβt have a βlook,β a size, or a single cause. They often live quietly at the intersection of biology, stress, hormones, trauma, culture, and perfectionism, and they deserve care thatβs just as nuanced.
At TullyMD, concierge medicine allows us to slow down and truly see the whole person. That means:
* Creating a safe, non-judgmental space to talk about food, body image, control, and health
* Looking beyond weight to understand hormones, metabolism, mental health, sleep, and stress
* Coordinating thoughtfully with therapists, dietitians, and specialists when needed
* Supporting recovery with individualized, compassionate, evidence-based care
If you are struggling, or worried about someone you love, youβre not alone, and help doesnβt have to feel rushed or fragmented. Healing starts with being heard.
This week, and every week, we stand for awareness, early intervention, and care that treats the whole human. π€

Sleep is one of the most important factors contributing to your health. π€
Inadequate sleep is linked to increased cardiovascular risk, impaired glucose regulation, hormonal disruption, inflammation, and decreased immune function. Many symptoms patients experience including fatigue, brain fog, mood changes, and headaches are often due to lack of sleep.
At TullyMD, we talk about sleep as part of our comprehensive care. We inform our patients why it matters for their bodies, what may be interfering with their sleep, and practical, evidence-based ways to improve sleep quality and duration.
If you are tired all the time, overwhelmed, run-down, or not feeling like yourself, schedule an appointment at TullyMD and let us help support you in your overall health!

If winter makes you more tired, more emotional, and less motivated, or just not yourself, it could be SAD.
Β
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a real form of depression tied to reduced sunlight, sleep disruption, and hormone changes.
Β
The good news? Itβs treatable!
Β
You can support your SAD through:
1. Light therapy
2. Movement
3. Healthy diet
4. Consistent sleep routines
5. Mental health care
Β
Small changes can make a real difference. You donβt have to suffer through the season.
Schedule a visit at TullyMD and let us help you support your mood, hormones, energy, and sleep - not just survive winter, but feel stronger through it.
β¨ The holidays are filled with joy, parties, and pours, but your body keeps score.
Alcohol doesnβt just affect your liver. Research shows that regular alcohol intake is linked to shorter lifespan, with stronger evidence showing no true longevity benefit, even at low levels. Heavy or frequent drinking clearly increases the risk of cancer, heart disease, poor sleep, and metabolic dysfunction.
For women, the impact can be even more noticeable. Alcohol affects hormones, sleep quality, gut health, mood, and blood sugar, especially with fluctuating estrogen and cortisol.
This season isnβt about restrictionβ¦itβs about awareness.
β¨Drink if you choose, but be thoughtful about it. Support your body by:β¨1οΈβ£ Eating before you drinkβ¨2οΈβ£ Hydrating between drinksβ¨3οΈβ£ Choosing low-sugar optionsβ¨4οΈβ£ Stopping before your body says βenoughββ¨5οΈβ£ Prioritizing sleep and recovery

π Holiday Guilt: Whatβs Really Happening and Why Now Is the Time to Prioritize Your Health π
So many women feel holiday guiltβ¦guilt about food choices, missed workouts, feeling overwhelmed, or not keeping up with routines. But from a medical standpoint, the guilt and stress themselves are far more harmful than a few days of celebration.
Hereβs whatβs actually going on in your body:
1οΈβ£ Your body is built to adapt, not break.β¨Short-term changes donβt undo your metabolism or hormones. Health is created through long-term habits, not holiday perfection.
2οΈβ£ Stress + guilt disrupt your physiology.β¨Increased cortisol affects sleep, cravings, inflammation, and mood.β¨Joy, rest, and connection actively support your nervous system and hormonal health.
3οΈβ£ Restriction creates the guilt-overeat cycle.β¨Labeling foods as βgoodβ or βbadβ increases guilt and dysregulates metabolism.β¨A non-restrictive approach helps stabilize hormones and eating patterns.
4οΈβ£ Rest is essential, not optional.β¨Recovery supports immunity, adrenal health, and emotional well-being, especially during a demanding season.
β¨ Where TullyMD Comes Inβ¨My concierge model is built around one philosophy:β¨Your health deserves to be a priority, not an afterthought.
For many women, the holidays highlight how far down the list their health has fallen and it becomes the perfect time to catch up, reset, and finally put themselves first.
At TullyMD, that means:β¨β’ Thorough evaluations of hormones, metabolism, stress, and sleepβ¨β’ Longer, unrushed visits to truly understand your healthβ¨β’ Personalized plans that fit your real life, including busy seasonsβ¨β’ Support that focuses on compassion and evidence, not guiltβ¨β’ A whole-person approach that helps you feel grounded heading into a new year
π If youβve been putting your health off, this season can be the moment you shift from guilt to empowerment.
β¨Your body is resilient and you deserve care that reflects that!

β¨ A gentle reminder from TullyMD β¨β¨
As we head into the end of the year, itβs the perfect time to check in on your health, your wellbeing, and the care youβve been putting off.
Many patients donβt realize that FSA/HSA dollars often expire or reset at the end of the year.
Did you know that roughly 44β48% of workers with FSAs forfeit at least part of their contributions in a given year. And on average, people who forfeit lose about $339β$408 per year.
If youβve been thinking about booking a visit, updating your labs, starting a new treatment, or finally getting answers about your symptomsβ¦ this is your sign.
At TullyMD, our focus is on comprehensive, compassionate, women-centered care, making sure your health never falls through the cracks. πβ¨
Your wellness matters, and you deserve time, space, and support to care for yourself.
β¨ Use your FSA/HSA benefits before they expireβ¨β¨ Schedule your preventive or follow-up visitβ¨β¨ Invest in your health now. Your future self will thank you!

Postpartum Myth-Busting!
The fourth trimester is full of surprises, and it comes with its share of myths too. Letβs set the record straight:
1. Breastfeeding isnβt instinctive for everyone. Thereβs a learning curve. Itβs stressful at the start, middle and end. And itβs ok to as for help if you wonder this if this is the best option for you and your baby. β¨2. Your postpartum journey wonβt look like anyone elseβs, healing is unique, non-linear, and personal.β¨3. Struggling doesnβt mean youβre ungrateful. Postpartum pain and mental health challenges are real, valid and all too common.
At TullyMD, we support new moms with personalized care, guidance, and a safe space to navigate this season. You donβt have to do it alone. π You deserve support every step of the way.

β¨ Big news in womenβs health β¨
β¨The FDA has announced that it will remove the highest-level (βblack boxβ) warning labels from many menopause hormone therapies (HRT). This is a major shift in how we think about menopause care.
What this means:β¨β’ Treatments for symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disruption + bone health issues now reflect newer science, not fear.β¨β’ New guidance highlights that starting therapy within 10 years of menopause or before age 60 may offer the greatest benefitβ¨β’ Risks still need to be reviewed carefully and treatment must be personalized for each patient
Why this matters at TullyMD:β¨As a concierge womenβs health physician who is one of few Menopause Society Menopause Certified Physician Providers, Dr. Nicole Tully takes the time to understand the whole picture: hormones, metabolism, stress, sleep, nutrition, family history, and your personal goals.β¨πΈ This holistic review allows her to create individualized, evidence-based HRT plans that truly fit each patientβs life and physiology.β¨π No rushed visits. No one-size-fits-all approach.β¨Just thoughtful, personalized menopause care grounded in science and real-world wellness.
This new FDA update finally aligns with what menopause-informed clinicians like Dr. Tully have practiced for years:β¨β¨ Women deserve accurate information, options, and care that evolves with the evidence.
If youβre navigating perimenopause or menopause and wondering whether HRT is right for you, TullyMD offers the kind of individualized, supportive guidance every woman deserves.

π Letβs Talk About the Baby Blues π
Bringing your baby home is beautifulβ¦ But it can also feel overwhelming.β¨Many new moms are surprised when the joy they expected is mixed with tears, worry, or unexpected sadness.
If this sounds familiar, please know: you are not alone.
β¨Nearly 8 in 10 new mothers experience what we call the βbaby blues,β a wave of emotions that can come and go in those first days after birth. Itβs your body and heart adjusting to incredible change. π
You might find yourself crying easily, feeling anxious, or just βnot like yourself.β These feelings usually fade within a couple of weeks.
But if your sadness feels heavy, lasts longer than two weeks, or makes it hard to care for yourself or your baby, it may be more than the baby blues.
β¨Postpartum depression is common and treatable. You might notice:β¨π§οΈ Persistent sadness or hopelessnessβ¨π§οΈ Loss of interest or joy in things you used to loveβ¨π§οΈ Trouble sleeping (even when the baby sleeps)β¨π§οΈ Feeling anxious, guilty, or overwhelmedβ¨π§οΈ Thoughts of harming yourself or feeling like your family would be better off without you
If any of these sound familiar, itβs time to reach out. There is no shame in asking for help. You deserve to feel supported and cared for. π
At TullyMD Concierge Womenβs Health, we walk beside you through every stage of motherhood, from pregnancy to postpartum and beyond. You are not alone, and you will get through this with help, care, and time.
π Youβre doing better than you think. And weβre here for you, always.

π Itβs fall! And you know what that meansβ¦ open enrollment season is here!
As you review your insurance options, this is the perfect time to make sure your plan aligns with your health goals, especially if youβre considering concierge OB/GYN care.
β¨ Hereβs what many people donβt realize:β¨Concierge medicine may be more attainable than you think. If youβre choosing a plan, look for one with out-of-network benefits. PPOs plans often offer the flexibility for your health care needs.
π³ And if you have an HSA or FSA, those pre-tax dollars can help cover eligible medical expenses like labs, ultrasounds, and certain procedures, making personalized care even more accessible.
At TullyMD Concierge Medicine, we believe healthcare should feel personal, proactive, and centered around you.Choosing the right plan now means year-round access to the care you deserve.
π Have questions about insurance, HSAs, or how concierge care fits into your coverage? Weβre here to help you navigate it all, so you can focus on what really matters: your health and peace of mind.
